EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Lamine Yamal was born in spain to African parents. His father Mounir Nasroui, a Moroccan and an Equtorial Guinea mother . Sheila Ebana, his mother worked as a waitress in spain while his father worked as a building painter. Although, his parents separated while he was three years old, they both remained deeply involved in his upbringing.

Through his growing he split his childhood life in Granollers and in Rocafonda. Rocafonda is the neighbourhood of Mataro, which is a humble and hardworking district which is honor by Yamal in his celebration gesturing “304”the last digit of the postal code. At the age of four he began playing football for his local club La Torreta. Subsequently he was being scouted by the legendary FC Barcelona’s La Masia academy at the age of six.

After graduating from La masia, he made his senior debut on April 29 2023. He made history as the youngest ever Barcelona player making his way to the first team. By the 2023/24 season he became irreplaceable in the first team securing his slot in the men’s first eleven team. Moreover, he made records as the youngest starter in Laliga, Champions League and all competitions that Barcelona participated in.
